Every year, candidates are challenged to raise money to help support patient services and life-saving blood cancer research. Last year, the candidates raised more than $647,000! This year, the campaign runs from March 10 to May 21.
Sarah Jindra is the traffic reporter for Chicago Public Radio. She also fills in doing traffic reports on NBC 5.
Last January, she started a website called INSPIREme Chicago to highlight all the positive and inspiring news happening in the Chicago area.
