We also had the chance to meet the "Boy & Girl of the Year" who were both diagnosed with leukemia at a young age. Emilio Ruiz and Hannah Brazendale are the most adorable and inspiring kids! It's so heartbreaking to hear how much they've already had to endure in their short lives. We were all so happy to hear that Hannah is now in remission and is an active little kindergartener! Emilio is still in treatment and was actually at the hospital all day yesterday before attending the kick off party. Hannah and Emilio have such an amazing strength and spirit. They're our motivation and inspiration during this fundraising campaign! We're all fundraising in their honor so we can help find a cure for blood cancers.
